Esha did her schooling from the Jamnabai Narsee School then went on to attend Oxford University and obtained a Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology. Esha always aspired to be an actress and follow in the footsteps of her parents and half-siblings, and landed a lead role in 'Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche' in 2002. In 2002, she received over eight awards for her performance in her film debut in Boney Kapoor's, Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe. She delivered her very first hit with 'Dhoom' in 2004 and went on to another hit after hit in 'Kaal', 'No Entry' in 2005. Mani Ratnam offered Esha a role in his Tamil film Ayitha Ezhuthu because she speaks Tamil fluently. She accepted the role and successfully pulled it off. Esha likes to work out and has always been fitness conscious. This talented Deol has a bright career ahead of her.
